Change your DIET with Nutrimeal

What is Nutrimeal?

Nutrimeal is a low-glycaemic-index food to help reduce carbohydrate cravings and provide sustained energy and greater satiety throughout the day.

Do you want to feel fuller longer and have a more sustained energy level? Here is your solution: tasty and convenient Nutrimeal shakes. They are low on the glycaemic index, meaning that the formula is designed to produce only small fluctuations in blood sugar levels for more sustained energy and to help you feel fuller, longer. Each serving of Nutrimeal contains 8 grammes of dietary fibre and provides 15 grammes of soy, whey, and other proteins. Soy protein is a complete protein, containing all of the essential amino acids in optimal ratios and in a highly digestible form. Whey protein, which is also easily digestible, is an excellent source of amino acids essential for building a healthy body. Try the rich flavour of Wild Strawberry, Chocolate or Vanilla for breakfast, or any time you want a healthy meal you shake!

High-Glycemic/Low-Glycemic Food

High-glycemic food are the type of food that spikes up your blood glucose levels. Low-glycemic food keeps your blood glucose level more stable, helping to reduce carbohydrate cravings, leave you feeling satisfied longer, and control your appetite more easily. A poor lifestyle can cause your body to over-stimulate the release of insulin-the body’s storage hormone. In essence, if you keep overeating sugar and high-glycemic carbohydrates, you will be more likely to gain weight. High-glycemic food includes rice, potato, ice-cream, chocolate, noodles, pasta, (almost everything that you consider your favorite food) etc.

AVOID THESE FOOD during your Reset program with Nutrimeal.

USANA Products for Pregnant or Breastfeeding Women

The Essentials can serve as an excellent prenatal multivitamin. Proper amounts of folic acid, zinc, and other important vitamins and minerals are all present in this product.

It is important for women who are planning to become pregnant and currently pregnant to consume at least 400 mcg of folic acid per day. A full daily dosage of the Essentials (3 tablets a day) provides 1,000 mcg of folic acid. If a mother does not have adequate intake of folic acid within the first few months of pregnancy, the fetus may develop neural tube defects (such as spina bifida). Studies show that taking at least 400 mcg of folic acid can reduce the risk of these birth defects by as much as 70%.

It is important for every expectant mother to ask a doctor about taking an iron supplement, as iron is not included in the Essentials. During pregnancy, women should generally supplement with somewhere between 28 and 90 mg of elemental iron per day, depending on their needs.

Research has also shown that essential fatty acids are critical for developing babies. It may be a good idea to supplement with BiOmega during pregnancy. Before taking any additional or different supplements, discuss them fully with your doctor, as it is important to protect the growing baby and mother.
